Basic Genealogy Lesson # 3

Lesson # 3                                                                                                            May 12, 2010

I will now tell you some of the places to look to find some of the information  that you will be looking for.

Go to a LDS church Library They have records from all over the world. You can go in person or use your computer.
Things to look for Birth records , Death records, Land records, Bible records,State records, County records, old news paper records, State History Pioneer records , Ship records, Church records,
Probate records, Marriage Application Records ( This is much better because it has the names of both fathers and mothers of the two that is getting married and it has their address on it) Census records,
The National Archives Records, Quaker Church Records( People did not need to be a Member of the Church to be in their record books, A lot people went from place to place in Groups it was much safer that way).all Lodges, Clubs, Military records,  Oh yes There are Genealogy Clubs out there State and County , You could join one or two and the people in the clubs will help you with your look ups .Now That should keep you off the streets for a while

Lesson #4 will be waiting to hear from you.

The only way that I know how we are doing is for me to hear from some of you ,For  the next day or two I'll be by my computer to help you. yours truly Clyde V Antrim
